Welcome to the Ashville Elementary Principals Page. It is my pleasure to also welcome you to another exciting school year of teaching and learning. As principal, it is an honor and privilege to work with our dedicated faculty and staff to ensure that a safe and nurturing school environment is provided where our students learn and mature through an academically rigorous, State of Ohio standards based, curriculum.
This year our theme is, "You make a difference." Our theme gives a guiding voice to our mission focus for the 2009-2010 school year, which is to create and maintain a learning environment that ensures that every member of our school community reaches a high level of academic achievement as determined by the standards of the State of Ohio and evidenced by district short cycle assessments and the Ohio Achievement Test. We are committed to a comprehensive system of support to assure that we reach this outcome.
On behalf of the Ashville Elementary School community, I invite you to make it a goal of yours to visit our school often and to continue to be involved in your child's education. You may also consider working as a parent volunteer or lending your talents to our Parent Teacher Organization.
