REQUIRED COURSES FOR THE VARIOUS GRADE LEVELS

CORE CURRICULUM FOR ADMISSION TO 4-YEAR PUBLIC COLLEGES

The following high school courses (or a similar curriculum) are now required for unconditional admission to 4-year public colleges in Ohio: 4 units of English, 3 units of mathematics (to include Algebra 1, Algebra 2 and Geometry), 2 units of social studies, 2 units of natural science (with significant laboratory experience), 2 units of foreign language, 1 unit of visual and performing arts, and 1 unit from any of the above mentioned subjects. Eastland/Fairfield students will be able to meet these requirements with careful planning with their counselor.
