Welcome to the new Teays Valley West Middle School Web site! We are extremely excited about opening a new chapter in the Teays Valley Local School District. We will remain committed to providing the best educational experience possible to the students of Teays Valley West Middle School.
My grandparents graduated from Scioto High School and I attended Scioto Elementary, so it is with a tremendous amount of pride that I team up with our staff to prepare to open the West Middle School. We are dedicated to the programs that helped TVMS become an Ohio School to Watch:

TVWMS will continue to embrace the middle school philosophy of high expectations for every member of the learning community by implementing character building programs, collaborative leadership and a school-initiated family and community partnership. We will work to meet the needs of our young adolescents in order to achieve academic success and promote personal growth. We understand all the adults in successful middle level schools are advocates, advisors and mentors to their students.
