Parent/Teacher Conferences
Parent/Teacher Conferences at the elementary schools have been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 3, and Tuesday, March 9, from 5-8 pm. If you have any questions about your conference or would like to schedule one, contact the school at 740.983.5000.
Make-up Days
Due to inclement weather, Teays Valley has used 7 snow days. We are required to make up all snow days after using the 5 snow days given by the Ohio Department of Education. The 2 make-up days will be held during spring break on Friday, April 2, and Monday, April 5.
New Elementary School Boundaries
South Bloomfield Elementary will open for the 2010-2011 school year. New boundaries for the elementary schools have been approved by the Board of Education. To see the new boundaries, click on the map below. Scroll down to see each school's map.
If your child will attend a different school next year, you will receive a letter in the mail.

Kindergarten Age Announcement
Pickaway County school districts announce Kindergarten enrollment eligibility for 2010-2011 school year:
Beginning with the 2010-2011 school year, children who are aged 5 on or before August 1 are eligible to enroll in Kindergarten. Children who are 6 years old on or before August 1, and who have successfully completed Kindergarten, are eligible to enroll in 1st Grade.

Writing Contest
The Teays Valley Academic Boosters Club and Teays Valley Classroom Teachers Association are sponsoring the 2010 Writing Contest for students in all grade levels in the Teays Valley Schools. The contest promotes the development of students’ creative writing skills. All entries are due by April 9, 2010.
