Congratulations to Teays Valley High School environmental science teacher Jessica Holes and the TVHS environmental science program for being honored as a branch level recipient of the Environmental Excellence in Education Program from the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency.
This is awarded to recognize their achievement in improving Ohio's environment, implementing interdisciplinary environmental education into their curriculum and providing opportunities for students to be involved in environmental stewardship.

Congratulations to Abby Baker (left) and Cooper McManaway (right) for their winning submissions to the "Write in Red" essay contest conducted by ADAMH (Paint Valley Alcohol, Drug Adiction, and Mental Health).
Abby took 1st place winning a $100 cash prize and a chance to win a $500 county scholoarship.
Cooper took 2nd place and will recieve a gift from TEAM 23.

Congratulations to Teays Valley High School seniors Aaron Burch and Alexis Cupp who are being recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) as Commended Students in the 2024 National Merit Scholarship Program! About 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise. Commended Students placed among the top 50,000 students who entered the 2024 competition by taking the 2022 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) last October.

Friday night was TV Educational Foundation night at Viking Stadium. The Foundation presented a check to the district committing to award $284,000 throughout the 2023-2024 school year in classroom grants and scholarships. We are grateful for this organization that does so much for our students and staff!
