We kicked off the 8th annual Viking Academy this morning with a keynote speech from Margaret Searle. It’s great to see the auditorium packed with Viking staff members getting ready for the school year!
Every year we have many questions about school supply lists for high school students.
High School students will receive supply lists from their individual teachers on the first day of school.
With our student schedules being so diverse there is no way to stream line supply lists. It's always a good idea to have pencils, notebooks, folders, and binders on hand!

We were excited to welcome some of our new staff members for orientation. They were introduced to many aspects of the district. We are thrilled for them to start their journey as a Viking!
TVHS freshman Lauren and West 6th grader Luke picked out some great summer reading.
Viking Nation celebrated the career of Sara Bennett. She is retiring after 15 years as an educator at Teays Valley. Thank you to Mrs. Bennett for her dedication to the students and district!
Congratulations to the TVHS students who were chosen to represent Teays Valley as delegates and alternates at the annual Buckeye Girls State program, which will take place next week at Bowling Green State University.
