We will be having hat day tomorrow (Friday 9-1) in support of a high school student who recently lost his father, and was left to pay for funeral expenses. Any donations to help will be appreciated.

Our staff wrapped up Viking Academy today. This group of staff members took part in a bus tour around the district lead by Superintendent Kyle Wolfe. They got a glimpse into the many communities our buses travel each day and learned some interesting and fun facts about the district.

We kicked off the 8th annual Viking Academy this morning with a keynote speech from Margaret Searle. It’s great to see the auditorium packed with Viking staff members getting ready for the school year!
7th and 8th grade cross country practice will begin tomorrow, August 1st from 3:30-4:30. We will maintain this schedule all week with a parent meeting following practice on Friday.
Reminder that 7th and 8th grade volleyball tryouts take place tonight, tomorrow and Wednesday 5:00-7:00 at the West Middle School gym.
